This episode of 07 Ghost starts off with Bishop Lance deciding weather or not bishop candidate’s pass or fail the bishop exam/test. I thought it was interesting that this episode focused on Liam and Ouida passing the bishops exam/test, because these brothers were originally featured in episode nineteen, and may be potential characters that Teito and Hakuren may rely upon in future episodes of 07 Ghost. I was a bit disappointed that this episode revealed that Tieto, Hakuren and other bishop candidates passed the first exam, and that there’s a second exam to become a bishop, as it seems that the exam arc may have the effect of dragging for to long, but I we will have to wait a see.

I thought that the scene where Lazet takes Tieto and Hakuren to another part of District 7 IMO (in my opinion) had that magical feeling to it, as Hakuren and Tieto rest in a little in another part of District 7, before taking the second part of the bishops exam. As Mikage is the mascot for this series, I thought that his interaction with Tieto in this episode was just too cute, that a big plushie of Mikage needs to be made.

I thought it was interesting that Hakuren opened up to Tieto in this episode and revealed the situation that he is currently in, and that Hakuren may be jealous of Frau’s relationship with Teito, as Frau and Tieto enter a door, where a person can only enter if they have lost a loved one, while Hakuren is told to wait for them.

I thought that it was interesting that this episode revealed more details about Tieto’s past, such as Tieto being the Prince of the Raggs Kingdom, and about potentially or not returning back to the Land of Seele (the end of the world). While on the way to the second exam for the bishop’s test, I thought it was about time, that the viewer got to learn the names of the seven ghosts (Zehel, Feist, Profe, Randkalt, Rilext, Ea and Vetrag) along side with their respective symbols.

My thoughts regarding the second exam, it seems to me that the second exam is more based on beating the inner fears that lie within that person, which can make the second part of the bishop’s exam interesting.

Overall, I thought that this episode was better than average, simply because it had Lazet in it, and that this episode revealed more details about the world of 07 Ghost.
