This episode of FMA: Brotherhood starts off on a very interesting and exciting start, with Riza going up against Gluttony. I thought it was pretty cool seeing Black Hydate rescuing Riza from Gluttony’s hands. I also thought it was pretty funny seeing Barry the Chopper go into Research laboratory 3 with the goal to scaring away the personal in the laboratory, instead of chopping them up.

As Havoc has been dating Solaris, I thought it was interesting that this episode revealed Lust revealing her true colours, and that Havoc reveals that he likes women with big breasts. I thought that the exchange between Havoc, Lust and Roy was really intense and exciting, and is IMO (in my opinion) one of the better action scenes in this series. As I thought that this episode couldn’t get more exciting and intense, I thought that the scene of seeing Riza empty all her guns on Lust, added a lot of character development to her character. As this episode had a few action scenes in it, I thought that the animation in this episode really increased a lot, as there was nice attention payed to details in this episode, from an animation.

As this episode was pretty much a rollercoaster episode, I thought the episode couldn’t get any better after all the action and revelations learned in this episode, but the appearance of Holhenhiem at the end of the episode just added the icing on the cake, for this episode. Overall, this episode was a gem of an episode, and hopefully the plot of the series will develop more, as it seems it has taken a backseat to the characters of the series splitting up.
