The Skull Man - Episode Thirteen (Final)

This episode of The Skull Man goes into more detail of the cast of The Skull Man while fighting the evil big boss in the Byakureikai headquarters. Overall, I thought the plot of The Skull Man was interesting, and the anime doesn’t give the viewer the answers to the plot of this series, but the viewer has to do some research into source material to get the answers to the questions that this series raises which is good and bad depending upon how an individual likes their anime. I thought that the setting of this series was interesting, as it’s set in the mid 1900’s (estimate) and note set in the future or in the current 21st century. The music I thought from the series was particular good, in that the background music and opening and closing themes sounded quite good, though is not a series that has an outstanding soundtrack and /or background music. The animation I thought was pretty good and what would l expect from Studio Bones. I thought that the character designs and the characters personalities in the series were interesting and fresh.

Overall, I thought that this series was fairly solid, though the way how the series ended was interesting, and would recommend it to anime fans looking for a series that is different from the stereotypical high school anime shows. I thought the best thing about this series that there was no annoying teenagers in this series, and the cast in this series mainly were adults.

Episode Rating: B+
