The Girl Who Leaped Through Time
After finally wanting to watch this movie for a good long time, I managed to get around watching this movie and I was very impressed with how this movie turned out. The premise of the story is pretty much what the title of the movie is, and it involves Makoto Konno having the power to leap through time.
As I was watching this movie, I found it rare to see some nice scenes involving high schoolers playing baseball, as I’m a fan of pitching myself. After some hi-jinks, Makoto learns she is able to control her time leaping ability due to taking a flying leap. I thought that way that Makoto abuses her time leaping ability was pretty natural, as if I was in her position I to would find it hard to restrain myself to not abuse that power.
After Makoto has a talking to with her aunt, Makoto matures a bit and relies that despite her good intentions of trying to make things better for herself and people around her, Makoto managers to unintentionally makes things worse, which makes changing some events even worse, then not letting them play out naturally, at that point in time.
From a production point, The girl that leaped through time was pretty flawless, with having good animation, music, voice actors, likeable characters, and most of all there was good character development that some of the characters go through.
Overall, I was very impressed with this movie, but I wouldn’t say that this movie is a masterpiece, but it wouldn’t be very far down IMO that I would category this movie in that bracket. This movie is also family friendly, which is another plus in my book.

Gundam 00 - Episode Fourty
As this episode displays the new and last closing theme for Gundam 00 Season 2, my thoughts about the new ending theme is that I really enjoyed the animation of the ending theme. I also enjoyed how this second ending theme extends the static ending shots of the previous ending. From a musical point of view I found the vocals of the ending theme okay, but listed below is the all important ranking of all ending themes of Gundam 00:
1st: Gundam 00 Season 1, 2nd Ending theme
2nd Gundam 00 Season 2, 1st Ending theme
3rd Gundam 00 Season 2, 2nd Ending theme
4th Gundam 00 Season 1, 1st Ending theme
This episode of Gundam 00 has a fair few things going on it, though I’ll just comment on a few things that caught my eye in this episode.
The Coup d’etat - I thought that the Coup d’etat in this episode was interesting, as it seems the taking of the Africa orbital elevator was a success, though as there’s ten episodes to go, I’m betting that it won’t be all smooth sailing.
Tieria X Mileina - I was surprised to see a possible relationship developing between Tieria and Mileina in this episode, as Teria IMO is fairly likeable in this season of Gundam 00 (IMO), and it will be interesting if there’s more development between these two.
Setsuna X Marina - They get some screen time in this episode, when Setsuna goes to the Katalan base to treat his wound from the previous episode.
Anew X Lyle - As the new ending theme hints that these two characters may or may not develop feelings for each other by the end of this, I thought that the two shared a little moment in this episode, which Felt picked up on IMO.
Setsuna vs. (Mister Bushido) Graham Arce – The episode would have to end on a cliffhanger, though Trans-Am Masurao, IMO should put up a decent fight against the 0- Riser and 00 Gundam.
Overall, this episode was pretty solid without anything to drag this episode down. I’m looking forward to the next episode, mainly hopefully to see Soma in the GN Archer.

Gundam 00 - Episode Thirty Nine
This episode of Gundam 00 is pretty much a plot development episode, with a fair few
interesting developments to keep the plot interesting. Before jumping straight into the developments of this episode, as this episode had a new opening theme my thoughts about it is that the animation certainly is pretty with some fan service in it, though I feel watching the new opening theme a couple of times that the animation and song feels out of syc with each other, as it feels the animation was made after the song was composed. I would have to say out the four opening themes for Gundam 00 I would rank all four opening themes in the following order:
1st: Gundam 00 Season 1, Second opening theme
2nd:Gundam 00 Season 2, First opening theme
3rd: Gundam 00 Season 1, First opening theme
4th: Gundam 00 Season 2, Second opening theme
In regards to this episode, I was rather surprised to see the ALaws get another new produced mobile suit piloted by an innovator, but as this episode plays out, it looks like Louise will be the new pilot of this new mobile suit. In terms of relationship development in this episode, it seems possible that Lyle and Anew are starting to develop a relationship with each other, or that it will go now where, but I hope it goes the other way personally.
This episode’s main plot twist is Setsuna discovering that Ribbons was the original pilot of the 0 Gundam. The other plot twist is that the viewer discovering that Tieria mobile suit Seravee has a surprise like his previous suit, as instead of having a blow off Gundam named Nadleeh as an ace, Tieria’s mobile suit Seravee in this episode can partly transform into a smaller mobile suit named Seraphim Gundam. IMO if I had a choice out of having Nadleeh or Seraphim Gundam, I would choose Nadleed Gundam everyday on the week, because it has a more unique looking design IMO.
Anyway I thought it was rather interesting that Tieria was able to kill off (I think) Bring Stabity in this episode. In regards the ending of this episode, my opinioun of Mister Bushido (Graham Arce) new mobile suit Masurao, is that IMO it looks like a samurai more than a Flag IMO.
The only thing I disliked about this episode was the sing by the orphans and Marina, because how Marina is acting in this series reminds myself of Lacus and Relena from Gundam Seed and Gundam Wing, and those two characters aren’t my favourite characters from their respective series.
Despite myself not liking a small aspect of this episode, one thing that I have enjoyed through the series of Gundam 00 seasons is the mechanical designs of the Gundams and non-Gundam units, as the designs of the mobile suits look very good, realistic and not overpowering compared to the Gundam mobile suits, that is seen is most Gundam series.

Gundam 00 - Episode Thirty Eight
As this episode is entitled The Battle for Memento Mori, this episode is one big, thrilling, non-stop adrenaline rush, that shows that abilities the team of the Celestial Being group, and what the essence of being a Gundam Meister is. I thought that the direction of this episode was pretty solid, with this episode also showcasing the bold strategies of Sumeragi.
Overall, this episode despite is simple nature was very exciting and edge of your seat rollercoaster ride.

Gundam 00 - Episode Thirty Seven
After the events of the previous episode, the episode continues the battle near Lagrange 3, with Gundam 00 managing to defeat two of the new model suits, though during the battle I thought that the most interesting thing is that Lockon almost got shoot down, if it wasn’t for Setsuna saving his back.
After the action scene in this episode, IMO I think this episode went in a downward spiral with Setsuna getting punched by Saji, and whining and crying by Saji. The saving grace in this episode was the Memento Mori surprising the viewer of not, being able to change its firing range, and attacking the Catalan space fleet.

Gundam 00 - Episode Thirty Six
This episode of Gundam 00 introduces the Memento Mori more formally to existence, with the Celestial Being group taking a very keen interest in the Momento Mori, and where it fired its first shot at the Middle East, at the city/town of Suille. While discussing the Memento Mori, Teria also brings up the Innovators, which are people that are continuing Aeolia Schenberg’s plan. While transporting the 0-Riser to the Ptolemaios, we learn that Anew is joining the crew of the Ptolemaios.
Just as transfer of supplies are ready, Lagrange 3 comes under attack, and the Ptolemaios and Gundams get attacked in waves from the A-Laws. During the fight the Ptolemaios gets a direct hit from the Mega Launcher from one of the new model suits, and thus forces Saji to deliver the 0-Riser to Gundam 00. After the 0-Riser has docked with 00 Gundam, the rest of the action showcases the power of the 00 Gundam docked with the 0-Riser.
I thought that the scene where Saji and Lousie can talk to each other reminded me of Gundam Seed Destiny with Shin and Steller, and it was interesting to see possible references from GSD and other Gundam series in this Gundam series.

Persona - Trinity Soul - Episode Twenty
This episode of starts off in an interesting fashion, with Counselor telling Jun and Shin about that Komatsubara Ayame is really now known as Kujou Mareya, and that she is the only daughter of Komatsybara Keisuke, who once was an authority in Neuro and Psychology. Also Counselor reveals that Ayane’s dad used her as a test subject for the complexion of persona, where she went missing on a trip to the press conference 10 years ago. The rest of this episode has Shin and Yuki (in Jun’s body) enjoying some time with each other in this episode. After Shin and Yuki spend some time with each other, we learn that Kanaru likes Shin, but Mayuri kidnaps Jun, and awakens Kanaru’s persona, before this episode ends.
Overall, this episode revealed some more details about the characters of this show, with this episode showing some non-typical behaviour from Yuki/Jun in this episode.

Persona - Trinity Soul - Episode Nineteen
This episode is mainly a Takurou centric episode, but before the episode goes in a Takurou direction, this episode starts of with a nice little dance scene from Megumi, in which Jun asks Megumi to teach him to dance, and possible join the dance club at school.
At the beach the group of Megumi, Shin, Jun, Kanaru and Takurou, Takurou notices a person that looks like his father. During the episode a woman comes and says that she is his father. As Takurou is naturally suspicious of this person being his father, the mention of Cycloid V is the thing that jogs his memory of his father.
As the episode goes on, Inui explains that people have been returning to their loved ones, with their body and consciousness doesn’t match, where people have apathy syndrome. Despite Takurou’s father having a body of a different person, the two manage to have a family reunion, before Takurou’s father disappears from Takurou life.
Overall, I thought that this episode was pretty good, and see some character development to characters beside Shin and Jun.

Persona - Trinity Soul - Episode Eighteen
This episode was a very interesting episode, as this episode mainly featured around Jun and Ayane. This episode has Jun and Ayane appearing to spend a lot of time with each other in this episode which seems to bother Shin, with also Jun being at the end of some nice jokes from Megumi. As the picture book entitled ‘A whale’s feather’ has been used in the series so far, I thought it was interesting to learn that Shin’s and Jun’s mother did the illustrations, while their father wrote the book.
This episode all gives Mayuri some character development in this episode, with her appearing to be friends with the other students at school. This episode also has Kanaru taking part in some speech contest entitled Star of Toyama. Overall, the mysterious nature of Ayane really added a lot of intrigue to this episode.
