Code Geass:Hangyaku no Lelouch - Episode Fourty Five
This episode of Code Geass deals with some of the listed elements:
1) Animation quality - I take back what I said about being happy with the animation quality of this season of Code Geass R2, as stated in one of my previous Code Geass R 2 episode reviews, as this episode of Code Geass R 2 has animation quality that is inconsistent/lower then compared to other episodes of Code Geass R 2. The reason for the drop in animation quality for this episode of Code Geass R 2 could/might be are: A different set of animators, less time to produce the drawings, animators spending time on other projects (i.e. Gundam 00 season 2 and or other productions) or a combination of one or multiple of the above or other reasons.
2) Lelouch vs. Charles - It was interesting/intriguing seeing Lelouch using his rage and anger to drive himself willing/wanting/unwanting/unwilling to throw everything away, just to get his vengeance/revenge on his father. I guess that the thought/idea of a person with nothing to lose, is more dangerous then a person with something to lose, which what/might of happened to Lelouch in this episode.
3) Marianne, C.C and Anya - I really don’t really know how Marianne is connected to Anya, and the pact/deal that Marianne made with C.C, but this was a good plot twist to throw at the viewer.
4) A possible coup d’etat - Now this would make things very interesting to the plot of Code Geass R 2, with Schneizel wanting to become emperor also, and Suzuka wanting the title of Knight of One, as a Round member.
5) Suzuka vs. Lord Waldstein - It was interesting to see some Round members duel one another. I’ll give some credit for Suzuka trying to take on Emperor Charles in this episode, because training is nothing, because the will is everything, because the will to act instead of doing nothing is everything.
6) Knight of Twelve - It was interesting to see another Round member (Lord Monika Kruszeski) make their appearance in this series. From the short time this episode spent on Knight of Twelve, Lord Monika Kruszeski gave the impression that she has a friendly personality then compard to Lord Bradley. It would be nice to see her Knightmare unit, if she has one.
7) Lancealot Albion - I’m guessing that’s this is Suzuka’s new upgraded custom Knightmare, that is seen in the second opening credits of Code Geass R 2. I’m betting/assuming/guessing that when Lacealot Albion appears in action in this series, I’m betting/assuming/guessing that Lacealot Albion will be shown in a similar light to Kallen’s Guren SEITEN Hakkyoku-shiki, that entered the battlefield in this season of Code Geass R 2.

Macross Frontier - Episode Twenty
This episode of Macross Frontier is one of those anime episodes, where the episode is memorable for a particular reason.
Below are some elements of this episode that are worth discussing:
1) Second stage Varja - The second stage Varja are quite menacing, as they cut people in half, and leave a lot of blood of their victims behind.
2) Major Brera Starne - The way Brere communicated with his VF-27 was interesting, as it reminded me to the similar scene near the start of Macross Plus episode 1, where Guld uses his brain waves to control the YF-21.
3) Animation quality - It was pretty solid throughout this episode, though the scene where Grace and Major Brera Starne are talking to each other, and Grace is using force mode on Brera, Brera’s face looked off model.
4) CG - The scene where the President of Frontier is on the escalator (also with his bodyguards), and the scene where Kathy and Ozama are running on the escalator, looked good, as it was interesting for the background of those scenes to be done in CG.
5) Major Brera Starne - Got a possible hint of some memories of Major Brera Starne, when Alto grabbed Ranka’s hand in this episode.
6) Second stage Varja vs. Alto and Michel - Got to see some left handed gun action, as most anime series make characters be mainly right handed. I would have thought that Michel and Alto would have used short controlled bursts to conserve their ammo on the Varja, like in the movie Aliens. The only word to described Luca in the situation is useless (like a certain Naruto character from that series).
7) Klan kissing Michel - That was some kiss that Klan gave Michel.
Michel’s death - Michel’s death was plain mean (in front of Klan).
9) Sheryl slapping Ranka - Ranka had it coming.
10) Giving your life for somebody else that you love – This was a little theme going on in this background of this episode.
11) Next episode preview – From the preview it looks like the SMS or army are going to use flamethrowers to try and kill the second stage Varja, because killing it (object) with fire solves the problem. The look in Klan’s eyes was a little disturbing; because of the saying ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’.
12) Leon killing the President of Frontier – It was swift, and without mercy.
13) Sheryl Nome insert song – Simply fitting and perfect for the scenes of this episode.

Vampire Knight - Episode Thirteen
This final episode of this season of Vampire Knight is an interesting episode, as this episode gives Ichiru some background, and his relationship with Shizuka-sama. Another interesting scene that occurred in this episode is when Zero sucked Kaname’s blood at the end of this episode.
Below is a rating of the elements of this season of Vampire Knight:
Opening theme: The vocals are catchy, and the animation to the vocals seemed to match the vocals. Studio Deen IMO did a good job in creating a memorable opening theme.
Ending theme: The ending theme IMO is a mix of cuteness and haunting.
Music: The bgm of the scenes in the series aren’t outstanding IMO, though there aren’t any scenes where the music didn’t suit the flow of the episodes.
Animation: Studio Deen did an admirable job trying as best as possible to animate the characters of Vampire Knight, though having had a look at the art of the manga, the manga art conveys so much more atmosphere and details then the anime.
Voice Acting: I can’t really rate this section because I’m usually not interested in this side of an anime production, though I did think that all voice actors did a good job with their role.
Even though I found this series rather average, I’m interested to see how the next season of Vampire Knight will end, considering the manga is still running in Lala.

Macross Frontier - Episode Nineteen
The logic of this Macross Frontier episode is that this episode starts with a new opening theme, and then the episode plays out, and then the episode ends with a new ending theme, and then the episode ends with the next episode preview.
This episode has the following elements which I shall list:
- Glasses Ranka
- Ai-kun
- Kathy X Ozama
- Klan X Michel
- Saotome mansion
- Luca X Nanase
- MDE bomb
- Alto’s mother (Miyo)
- Stunt Flying
- Ranka concert
- State Secrets Act
- Assassin
- Love Triangle (Ranka, Sheryl and Alto)
- Varja
- Festival
My comments for this episode can be viewed below:
Alto’s mother - The scene where Alto sees Sheryl in the same kinomo/yukuta as Miyo-san was interesting, as it compared and constructed how Sheryl and Miyo look like one another. The scene also showed how much Alto looks like his mother.
MDE bomb - The look in Leon eyes when he saw the MDE bomb looked liked Christmas had come early for him, and when Grace told Leon what the capabilities of the MDE bomb is, and when mass production of the MDE bombs might be completed.
Animation quality - As I am guessing that Macross Frontier has a budget that is more than that of an average TV series, there where some scenes in this episode where some characters looked off model.
New opening theme - The interlacing of the scenes looked good, and the song also is catchy.
New closing theme - The use of the static animation scenes was simple yet well executed. Regarding the song, it’s the 1st opening theme (Triangular), so I’m not going to bother to rate the vocal component of the new closing theme.

Macross Frontier - Episode Eighteen
Part of this episode of Macross Frontier deals with Sheryl Nome’s past. This episode of Macross Frontier also gives some background of how far back the Grace O’ Connor deception starts. If one is watching this episode closely, you may have noticed that when Klan is looking up the November issue of Cosmo Nature, you will notice three window tabs on the computer screen, and the second and third computer window tabs entitled ‘Kawamori Official Blog’ and ‘Satelight Home page’ were a nice little in joke, to the mecha designer of this Macross series, and the animation studio that is producing this series.
The action scene of this episode showcases the capabilities of the battle frontier. Overall this episode focused more on plot and character development rather than action.

Vampire Knight - Episode Twelve
This episode of Vampire Knight deals with Kaname killing Hiou Shizuka in this episode. This episode also deals with Zero and Ichiru having a night sword fight with each other. I thought that the early comedy of the night class students dancing with other students from Cross Academy was pretty funny.
This episode of Vampire Knight wasn’t very entertaining to me, as to me that this episode was very mundane and didn’t have any qualitative elements, to rise this episode to a higher rating.

Vampire Knight - Episode Eleven
This episode of Vampire Knight starts off with Zero and Ichiru getting reacquainted with each other. I thought that the dance party scene during the last half of this episode, adapted the manga source material quite well.
Overall, this episode had a mix of many elements in this episode, though I thought that there wasn’t anything that made this episode exciting and or interesting.
