Rose of Versailles - Episode Twenty
This episode of Rose of Versailles deals with the Oscar dealing with the feelings that she has for Fersen, and putting up a brave face despite her feelings towards Fersen. Despite Fersen being transferred to help with the war in America, I thought it was brave of Oscar to keep Marine Antoinette’s mind on her, by asking her to dance with her only, while Fersen was also attending the same ball.
I thought that the person playing that musical instrument made this episode interesting, as it layered a formation of shadow overlooking Marine Antoinette’s rule. I thought it was interesting that Andre, Oscar and Marine Antoinette are going through similar emotions in this episode.

Anime & Kokoro Library 29 Nov 2007 05:11 pm
Kokoro Library - Epsiode Eight
This episode of Kokoro Library starts off with Inoue Hikari reading a letter on a train to go to Kokoro Library, because it’s a place where miracles happen. While Hikari is on the train, Iina takes a picture of Kokoro sleeping, on Kokoro’s and Aruto’s lunch break.
During the lunch break Uezawa arrives as tells she picked up Inoue Hikari at the train station due to his good nature, and that she wanted to go her. Inoue Hikari doesn’t seem wanting to talk to anyone, and hands Iina why she is at Kokoro Library. The letter that Inoue hands over, states that the she is there to complete real world training, by the Library Association Board.
As Inoue is being mute to the sisters, it makes things a bit awaked, but the sister’s try their best to make Inoue as comfortable as possible. Inoue gets a pink library uniform, and we learn why Inoue is mute, is because she mother is very sick in hospital. Despite Kokoro showing Inoue the ropes, Inoue is still deeply concerned for her mother, and decides to run away, to where her mother is. When Inoue tries to run away, Kokoro sees Inoue, and after some crying, Inoue decides to not run away.
It was good to see some emotion in this episode, as the sister’s life isn’t a rosy as I assumed. I’m sure Iina is enjoying having another little sister around, as she can do all weird stuff to, if Kokoro went away on another library training session.

Anime & Gundam 00 29 Nov 2007 05:10 pm
Gundam 00 - Episode Eight
This episode gave a little more depth to Lockon’s, and Setsuna’s past, when the terrorist incident occurred in the previous episode. As this episode rolled on, it was interesting to see the Felt and haro seem to have a friendly relationship. I thought that the little scene that Graham gets in this episode where his talking to his subordinates about cowardly and loyalty was good.
As Saji and Louise seem to always get into trouble, it was good to learn that Louise is from Spain, and that Louise may separate and return back home if terrorist activities keep pace. I thought that Setsuna’s encounter with Marina Ishmael was a bit unrealistic in that see decided to talk to another citizen from her country just by seeing them out of her escort. Also I would’ve thought that Marina Ishmael would have at least two escort cars following her, to protect her.
I thought that it was good to hear from Marina why her country is in chaos due to a split between the Conservative and Reform parties. I still think it was dumb to inform Marina that he a Gundam Meister, though it was interesting to see the split screen cinematic technique used when Setsuna was talking to Marina, as this technique usually is used frequently is MS battles
I thought that camouflage mode of the Exia, could be very handy, though it’s good to know why their Gundam’s are hard to find by the various factions. I thought that the bridge bunny’s looked good in their swimsuits, while the Gundam’s attacked the Human Reform League and Union.
I thought the Exia’s battle underwater, was interesting that its beam sabers worked underwater, while if I remember correctly that in Gundam Seed and Wing that they didn’t work under water, so hopefully we will get an explanation why beam saber\s can work in the Gundam Universe.
Overall, I felt it was a good episode, though I felt there were some questions of how realistic some scenes of this episode could have been.

Anime & Your Under Arrest: Full Throttle 27 Nov 2007 05:52 pm
Your Under Arrest: Full Throttle - Episode Seven
This episode of Your Under Arrest is about the case of a fake taxi robbing people, and it ups to the dynamic duo to stop the robbers. Miyuki and Natsumi learn that that fake taxi people, are robbing drunken women, near the Arakawa riverside and Sakai Station.
I thought that it was impressive how Miyuki figured out the robbers were repainting the taxi to various colors, due her knowledge of cars, and the painting scraping that she acquired at the crime scene.
I through that Natsumi and Miyuki looked very attractive in their various disguises, while trying to catch the robbers, on a Friday evening. I did think that it was really smart to see that one of the robbers dressed as the car seat, to surprise their victims.
As Nakajima is mainly at the end of jokes in this YUA series, I thought that is was good to see Nakajima shine, by taking down the robbers in this episode.
I thought that the last scene of this episode was good, as it’s about time to see some Nakajima and Miyuki development.

Anime & La Corda D'Oro ~primo passo~ 26 Nov 2007 02:25 am
La Corda D’Oro ~primo passo~ - Episode Two
This episode starts off with Hino trying to play the violin, but the violin doesn’t play. Yunokoi saves Hino from his fan club members and Hino meets Amou, a member of the school press club. After Hino meets Amou, Hino meets Shimizu Keiichi sleeping. After Hino meets Shimizu, the selection for the concous meet each other, and introduce themselves to the other members selected.
Hino in this episode in also seen talking to Tsuchiura, and the episode ends with Hino playing for Yunokoi’s fan club girls. While Hino is performing at the end of the episode, Hino’s hand starts shaking before the episode ends.
As this is a shoujo show, it seems all the various bishounen will have a distinct personality type, though so far I don’t know which one of the bishounen boys is my favourite, as it’s still early days in this anime.

La Corda D’Oro ~primo passo~ - Episode One
I’ve firstly decided to blog this show because it’s a shoujo show, and that it’s a show that I haven’t seen that has been blog completely. The start of this episode tells of the story of how a man saved a fairy’s life, and then the school was blessed with music.
After the little back story about the fairy, Hino is running late for school and notices the fairy. Hino’s reaction to seeing the fairy Lili, is similar to Saga’s, when she meets Sugar in a Tiny Snow Sugar Fairy.
After Hino’s encounter with Lili makes the Carillo bells rings, and thus making the principle of the school to ask Kanazawa to organize a musical concous. The musical concous plot, allows the viewer to meet the characters that will be the main leads of this show. The characters that Hino will interact with in this series are, Yunoki Azuma, Hihara Kazuki, Tsukimori Len, Shimizu Keiich and Fuyuumi Shouko.
After Hino goes to the musical department after school, Lili gives Hino her magical violin. After Hino receives her magical violin, Hino sees Fuyuumi being harassed by some of Yunoki’s body guards, and Yunoki’s bodyguard’s mange to get Hino to play the violin, when Hino is just an amateur
Hino IMO seems to be a likable character, in that she as a personality, and not a stereotypical personality. The animation looks clean, and as this is a shoujo show, there are the stereotypical shoujo pans and other animation shortcuts, that there are in shoujo shows.

Anime & Gundam 00 20 Nov 2007 06:35 pm
Gundam 00 - Episode Seven
It’s was firstly good to see that despite the Gundam’s being pretty invincibility against grunt units, that Setsuna lose to Ali Al-Sartes, despite Ali ending up retreating due to Gundam Dynames interfering. The flash back scene involving Setsuna was interesting as he hear him being referred to as Soran (likely his real name), and shoot a kid under Ali’s training. The picture of Setsuna holding a gun, reminded me of the girls with guns anime shows, from Bee Train. Hopefully in time we will get some information about what Setsuna (or Soran) was doing when he was a kid in the Kurdish Republic.
It was interesting in this episode to see Gundam Virtue use the particles as a shield, though hopefully more information about the Gundam’s particles will be revealed in time. I was good to see that the 4 Gundam’s were able to wipe out a fairly realistic number of the Moralian Army (32 MS, 26 tanks, and 15 AEU MS).
I thought it was good to see that Tieria gave Setsuna some lip about his actions, to get out of his MS while fighting Ali Al-Sartes. I thought that the moment in the episode where Setsuna got angry, and the Exia started to glow in various places, that this might be a mode of the Gundam, which could be similar to Seed mode in Gundam Seed.
I thought it was good to see the haro say be friends, while the Gundam Meisters were fighting each other, and then get swept into the seas. It’s good to know that the haro is waterproof, as it could come in handy done the line.

Kokoro Library - Episode Seven
This episode of Kokoro Library is based on the previous episode, but it’s told from Iina’s and Aruto’s point of view, about that it was like when Kokoro was at her library training. This episode Iina is basically a zombie waiting for Kokoro waiting to call. During Kokoro’s days at the library training session, Iina dressed up Akaha as Kokoro, because Iina took it to heart that Akaha to come over, and make sure her sister’s were okay. Iina even managers to have some weird dream were some aliens are kidnapping Kokoro, but Aruto’s secret identity as Ms. Himemiyu Kirin seems to be safe.
Iina manages to settle down, when during one of the nights that Kokoro is away, that she finds the books with the lock on it open, and starts to read it. After reading the book with the lock, Iina is back to her normal self. The episode ends with sisters talking about the recent events in their living room.
This episode could be seen as filler, due to showing an episode from another point of view, but having not seen this technique done in any previous anime show that I have seen, it was interesting to see the events unfold.

Kokoro Library - Episode Six
This episode is entitled the Comparoid Librarian, but it deals with Kokoro going to some seminar to get some Library training. A good element I liked with this episode that I liked was that Kokoro and her sisters get some new hairstyles, and some new wardrobe clothes. I thought it was funny how Iina was worried about leaving, with Aruto thinking that Iina is the one that needs to be looked after, as she has good bye to Kokoro at the train station.
Kokoro ends up being roomed with the Comparoid, a robot that is developed by Nakanishi Industry, and the Comparoid name is June. The Comparoid has cat ears, but it’s robotic. I wouldn’t have mind to see Kokoro playing with June’s ears, like when Kagome first meet Inu-Yasha.
The person in charge on June’s and Kokoro’s training is a lady called Asakara Hibiki. While Kokoro and June do the assessment, Kokoro decides to search for an overdue book, and give it the owner requesting it, even though it enabled them not to service other users. Kokoro and June end up having their assessment put on hold, until the next library training session.
