Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Episode Thirty Two

I thought that this episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood was quite interesting as Armstrong informs Edward about May and Scar are heading north, Armstrong informs Edward that there is a general that guards the Drakam border holds the title of another name, the “Northern Wall of Briggs” and holds the rank of Major General Armstrong. I thought that the conversation that occurred between Roy and Mrs.(?) Grumman was interesting as it provide some interesting hints about what may occur in future episodes of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

As in the previous series of Full Metal Alchemist that Selim Bradley played a significant role in the death of Fuhrer King Bradley of the Army, I though it was interesting to see some character development and interaction between Ed and Al with Selim Bradley.

Overall, I thought that this episode again was more of a build up episode, though am wondering where Homeheim Elric will reappear, as his screen-time as been rather minimal in this series so far.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Episode Thirty One

I thought that this episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood was rather bland in that this episode was again a stereotypical plot building episode with Roy Mustang enlisting the help of Madam Christmas to help do his dirty work. I though that Kimble was released in this episode was rather cool, as I thought that Kimble looked like the person/hitman that Elliot Ness through off the roof in the movie the Untouchables.

I thought the little joke that Kimble played on the security guard was interesting, as Kimble kind of reminds me of the character Greed, in that they are characters I like from the series. I thought it was interesting that Scar made Dr. Marcoh’s face unrecognizable to other people in this episode.

Overall, I thought that this episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is slowly building up steam for the next major plot development in the series, and look forward to see how it will play out.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Episode Thirty

This episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood deals with Ed going to Hawkeye’s place, and getting a history lesson from her about the truth that occured in Ishambal.

I thought that the Hawkeye eye-catcher in this episode was interesting, and a bit fan servicey, in that it showed of Hawkeye’s scar and tatoo’s that she has on her back. Despite Ed getting a history lesson in this episode, IMO (in my opinion) I thought it was cool seeing Hughes again, as the series isn’t the same without him. From a plot point of view I’m a little concerned how it may or may not play out, but as this series of Full Metal Alchemist is considered a faithful adaption of the manga, I’ll remain hopeful that the series can end on a good note.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Episode Twenty Nine

This episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood deals with the Aftermath of Al,Gluttony, Greed, Envy Scar and other characters running into one another with the father of the homunculus. I thought it was interesting in this episode how Holhenhiem vanished from the plot of the series in this epiosde, but I hope it won’t be to long before he reappears as it would make the more interesting to get his relationship with the father/creator of the homunculus.

I thought te fan service of Edward in this episode was good, and that Ed tells Al that he meet Al’s real body, but the problem is how to get in back? As Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood has a poor opening theme IMO (in my opinion) and still disliking the art direction of he series (I prefer previous art direction and character designs of the FMA characters) I’m struggling to get into this series.

Overall, this episode was the calm after the storm in the previous episode of Full Metal Metal: Alchemist: Brotherood, but I thought that the scene involving Wirny talking to Ed and Al on the telephone in this episode was the highlight my myself in this episode for some odd reason. As I new to the material occuring in the episodes of FMA: Brotherhood, I’m trying to judge or not in this series is any good, because I don’t know how the series will end.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Episode Twenty Eight

This episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood deals with Al and Gluttony meeting up with the homunculus father. As I thought that the father of the homunculus was Holhenhiem, I was pleasantly surprised to say Holhenhiem so far isn’t the creator/father of the homunculus.

I thought that plot twist in this episode that contained Ling becoming Greed was really interesting, and that Gluttony may be remade in future episodes of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I thought the father of the homunculus was pretty interesting and pretty powerful, but the episode glossed over learning anything more about the creator/father of the homunculus.

Overall, I thought that this episode was very good, though as this episode IMO (in my opinion) has bit a climax of sorts, I’m thinking that the next couple of episodes of FMA: Brotherhood will be quieter based episodes, then plot and action based. I’m also concerned how FMA: Brotherhood plot will continue after this episode, as I’m finding it difficult how the plot of the FMA: Brotherhood will continue and intensify in future episodes.

Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood - Episode Twenty Seven

As this episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood had a new opening and closing theme I get my thought(s) out of the way about them first before moving onto the story of this episode. My thought(s) about the opening theme is that I thought that the music and animation not mesh well together, and also thought that I could as least a fast paced J-rock song would have at least eased my pain while watching the opening credits. My thought(s) regarding the closing theme is that is made of WIN, simply because Wirny features mainly in the ending theme animation! My thoughts regarding the song are that it suits the scene(s).

Regarding this episode I thought that this episode was part recap, and part story. As Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood hasn’t had a recap episode to far, this episode IMO (in my opinion) is the episode of the dreaded recap. I thought that the new bits of this episode staring Holhenhiem were very interesting, as the viewer final gets insight into Holhenhiem. So far it looks like from the next episode preview I may be right about who the father of the homunculus are, though am still waiting for a confirmation before I can gloat.

Overall, I thought that this episode was a bare pass, in that in the episode focused entirely on Holhenhiem character then the episode would have gotten a better grade.

Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood - Episode Twenty Six

I thought that this episode of FMA: Brother was very interesting, in that in this episode the viewer got hit with how the current Fuhrer was made into a homunculus. I thought that this episode was interesting when Edward meet Al’s body in the gate of truth, but couldn’t bring him back to Al, because it seems from Ed’s interaction with Al’s body in the gate of truth, that only Al’s soul can only get Al’s body back. I thought that the Fuhrer President Candidates program was interesting though it isn’t as interesting as the program that was conduced in the series Monster.

I thought that the way this episode was building up that the viewer may get a sneak peek at the father of the homunculus, though despite this episode not revealing how this individual is, my best guess that I can think of who it might be is Holhenhiem. Though hopefully it won’t be to long before the viewer learns who the father of the homunculus is.

Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood - Episode Twenty Five

My thoughts regarding this episode in that I thought it was interesting see Envy change into a monster in this episode, as it reminded me of when Envy changed into a dragon in the Full Metal Alchemist Movie and near the end of the first Full Metal Alchemist series.

Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood - Episode Twenty Four

As Dr. Marcoh I thought had died at the hands of Lust and/or Envy from episode FMA: Brotherhood, I guess that Dr. Marcoh still has some role to play near the end of this series. As I really dislike Gluttony, I thought that his antics in this episode were pretty interesting, though I thought that Barry the Chopper is more interesting than Gluttony. The best part of this episode IMO (in my opinion) is when Hawkeye showed off her guns skills near the start of this episode.

Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood - Episode Twenty Three

My thoughts regarding this episode are that Hawkeye with glasses equals big WIN! I thought that the promise that Ed made to Wirny before she left to Rockwell was an interesting promise, though I wonder if Ed can keep it or not?
