Vampire Knight: Guilty - Episode Thirteen (Final)
The final episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty firstly differs from the manga source material in that the manga continues the story of Zero, Kaname and Yuki, while this episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty pretty much ends the Vampire Knight story, though the ending is a little open-ended to possibly or not make a third season of Vampire Knight or not.
I thought that the way Rido died in this episode was lackluster, as I prefer how the manga handles the battle between Rido, Zero and Yuki. I thought the ending of this episode wrapped the series as best as possible given the manga of Vampire Knight is still ongoing in Japan, and is up to about now.
Overall, I thought that this 13 episodes of Vampire Knight IMO (in my opinion) was slower placed compared to the first season of Vampire Knight which was more faithful to the manga of Vampire Knight then Vampire Knight: Guilty. From an animation point of view the series was consistent from an art point of view, and is stereotypical animation quality from Studio Deen. I thought the music of Vampire Knight: Guilty was pretty average as there was no outstanding or bad musical pieces.
Being a fan of the manga of Vampire Knight I found it hard to say goodbye to Yuki, Kaname and Zero now, but I’m hoping that once the manga of Vampire Knight finishes that Studio Deen may consider making another season of Vampire Knight to wrap up the remaining manga material. Overall, I enjoyed this season of Vampire Knight and enjoyed the love triangle between the main leads of this series.

Vampire Knight: Guilty - Episode Twelve
The second last episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty starts of an interesting note, with a flashback between Yuki and Kaname as children. After the episode starts off, the episode focuses on Rido Kuran and Yuki. I thought that the scythe that Yuki has as a weapon in this episode was pretty cool and thought that the way that Chairmen Cross doesn’t want history to repeat itself with Kaname, Zero, Yuki and Rido is interesting and a bit twisted.
Overall, despite this episode starting off on a slow note, the episode certainly picked up as the episode went on. As Kaname as yet to reach the location where Zero, Yuki and Rido are, hopefully things will pick up when Kaname reaches the same destination as the other main leads are currently at, to add a little spice to the scene.

Vampire Knight: Guilty - Episode Eleven
This episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty is interesting as it focus on Ichiru and Zero. If one thought that Ichiru the sane brother of the pair well you are wrong, as this episode proves that Ichiru is really twisted. Before I go into more detail about Ichiru and Zero, this episode continues the previous episode of the Night class helping slaying some vampires.
After Ichiru shoots a helpless Zero with the Bloody Rose, I thought it was interesting that the episode went into detail about the life Ichiru and Zero had when their parent were around. After some Zero and Ichiru moments in this episode, the episode shows Ichiru attacking Rido, but falling. I thought that the scene where Zero eats up Ichiru was interesting, as the relationship between Zero and Ichiru is really twisted and interesting in my opinion.
As I’m an Ichiru fan, I’m pretty upset Ichiru dying in this episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty, but at least he died with some grace and purpose. Overall, I was very interested and strangely liked how this episode played out, and hope the remaining two episodes of Vampire Knight: Guilty can wrap the series on a good note or not.

Vampire Knight: Guilty - Episode Ten
I thought that this episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty started off of an interesting note with Yuki getting used the first rays of the sun in the morning. As the title in entitled ‘The Battle’s Prelude’, this episode has Chairmen Cross ordering all students to return home of what may occur at Cross Academy. As I a big Ichiru fan, I thought that this episode was great to see some more of Ichiru as he remembers Shizuka. Also I thought that Ichiru looks better with his haired down then tired up.
I thought it was interesting that Cross Academy has an emergency shelter for students, and that time was taken in this episode to focus of other students such as Yori and Shindou. I thought that seeing Yuki with long hair and her putting on her thigh pole brace, to store Yuki’s weapon was strangely alluring, yet hot at the same time.
I thought it was interesting that Chairmen Cross would partner with the Night class; to hunt vampires was an interesting twist to this episode. I thought it was cool that the viewer got to see some powers that the Night class have, though I thought that more time should have been taken to show off the Night class.
Overall, I thought that the prelude to the battle to come in the next episode’s to come should be interesting an exciting, as I really like the manga of Vampire Knight. I also hope that the anime can end on a good note considering the manga in still ongoing currently.

Vampire Knight: Guilty - Episode Nine
As the episode ended with Zero pointing his Bloody Rose at Yuki, I was hoping that there would be a confrontation between the two, but this doesn’t occur. I also thought that it was interesting to see Ichiru and Kaname discuss Rido’s current sleeping quarters, while also discussing the twins (Ichiru and Zero) will eventually try to steal the other’s life force, much like a vampires craving for blood.
I thought it was interesting to see Chairmen Cross being a former hunter with his sword, as there’s more to Chairmen Cross then the funny personality that he seems to show to the viewer and characters in this series of Vampire Knight. I also thought it was interesting to see Kaname as a child try to fight Rido, as it shows that Kaname isn’t as strong and powersul as he is portrayed in this series.
Overall, I thought that this episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty was pretty good, as look forward to see how the characters will develop and change throughout the remaining episodes of Vampire Knight.

Vampire Knight : Guilty - Episode Eight
After the previous episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty, this episode is entitled Spiral of Recollection, and deals with the view getting an inside look at Kaname’s parents, and Yuki’s time with Kaname as a child. Child Yuki looks so adorable and cute. I thought it was interesting that the viewer got insight into that it was Yuki’s mother that performed a ritual to make Yuki forget her memories of when she was with Kaname and his parents.
The viewer also learns that Yuki was the daughter of Haruka and Juuri, and is the child born to be Kaname’s wife, if Yuki wishes so. As Yuki’s character design changed in this episode (Yuki now has long hair), I’m trying to get around the sudden change in Yuki’s character design, as I think that Yuki looks better with short hair, instead of long hair.
From what I was able to gather from this episode, is that Rido somehow has possessed Shiki’s body, and I thought that the attention made to snow falling from the sky in this episode was pretty memorable from this episode. Overall, I thought that this episode was intriguing on various levels, though I’m waiting to see how the ending will be handled since the manga of Vampire Knight is still ongoing.

Vampire Knight : Guilty - Episode Seven
This episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty deals with Shiki and Kaname on opposite sides on one another, and Ichiru playing both sides with Shiki and Kaname. As this episode of Vampire Knight is entitled Thorn Kiss, I thought it was interesting that Yuki would attack Zero in this episode, and finally after seven long episodes, Kaname finally drinks Yuki’s blood, and after this moment, Yuki informs Zero that Kaname is Yuki’s elder brother.
My jaw just dropped after the end of this episode, as the series has just gotten more intense and interesting. I thought that the plot has thickened, as Kaname says near the end of this episode, that he would have been happier if Yuki was her real elder brother. I’m still scratching my head about what’s going on in this series, but I’m really enjoying. Hopefully more plot twists like this keep coming as I further watch more episodes of this series.

Vampire Knight : Guilty - Episode Six
This episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty starts off with Ichiru meeting Kaname, but what I really liked about this scene is the clothes that Ichiru is wearing, in that if I saw them for sale at a clothing store, I would buy them in a heart beat. After Kaname, Chairmen Cross and Ichiru have a talk with one another, some of the night class students are asked by Kaname to follow/guard Yuki, which makes Yuki and Yori uncomfortable, as Yuki thinks it’s a new way of Kaname trying to bully Yuki around.
I thought that the scene where Ichiru tried to make Yuki a vampire with Shizuka’s blood was interesting, as Ichiru had flashbacks of when Zero didn’t want to become a vampire. If you’re a Yuki X Kaname fan then you will enjoy the little scene of the pair sitting under a tree and talking about various topics.
As I thought that Ichiru would reject the idea from Chairmen Cross to have dinner with himself and Zero, and that there’s some development with Zero and Ichiru, in that Ichiru does and doesn’t know what Zero likes to eat, as they have had different up brings and lifestyles.
Overall, despite this episode being drama based, I thought that this episode provided some interesting character development to the characters that featured predominately in this episode. I thought that scene in this episode that focused on Shiki, was a teaser on what may or may happen in future episodes of Vampire Knight: Guilty.

Vampire Knight Guilty: Episode Five
This episode starts off with Yuki thinking of the present that Kaname got her, and wanting to know more about her past. Despite Yuki still thinking about what to do, I thought that the scene were Chairmen Cross cuts his finger and then asks Zero to lick it clean for him was funny. As I’m finding it a bit tedious that Yuki is spending a bit to much time in the series thinking about Kaname and Zero, and what then mean to her, I thought that the scene where Zero goes to visit Kaname was really pleasing, as Zero and Kaname rough each up a little. I thought it was about time that Kaname and Zero sort of fought each other, though I would have preferred to see a full fist fight between Zero and Kaname, then Kaname and Zero toying with one another in this episode. Despite Zero and Kaname disliking one another in the series, I thought it was interesting that both Zero and Kaname want to see Yuki smile from the bottom of her heart.
I thought that the sight of Zero drinking Kaname’s blood was really an interesting scene, as this is the first scene according to the manga where Zero drinks Kaname’s blood, and the scene of where Zero drinks Kaname’s blood at the end of the previous series of Vampire Knight series didn’t happen in the manga, so I really thrilled to see the first real scene of Zero drinking Kaname’s blood in this episode. As I’m a Ichiru fan, I was real happy to see Ichiru get a pretty faithful manag introduction in this episode, but I would like to mention that in the manga of Vampire Knight Ichiru doesn’t have a bell in his hair, but I would of preferred to see Ichiru’s character to have his hair down, as I think that he looks better like this.
Overall, I thought this was an solid episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty, though I’m hoping that Yuki will soon decided on weather if she will get her memories back or not, then just thinking most of the time should I or shouldn’t get my memories back. The highlight for me in this episode was seeing Ichiru join the day class, though it should make campus like more interesting for Zero.

Vampire Knight Guilty - Episode Four
This episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty starts off with Senri returning home, he is shown a family secret, his father. I thought that the scene where Senri’s father tries to take Seni’s power was interesting, as it seems there’s a juicy story behind and occurring with the awakening of Senri’s father.
I thought it was interesting that this episode of Vampire Knight: Guilty was able to include some fan service in this episode despite Vampire Knight: Guilty not being a series that has a lot of fan service in it. As Zero has been working as part of the Vampire’s Hunters Association in this series and previous series of Vampire Knight, I thought it was good to see more the Vampire Hunters Association Headquarters, as the viewer gets an insight into the world of vampire hunting. My initial thought about the president of the Vampire Hunter Association is manipulative due to his character design and voice. My initial thoughts were confirmed when Zero and the president of the vampire hunter association have a private talk with one another. I thought it was interesting to learn in this episode that Cross was a vampire hunter, when he was young. As the statement the curse of the twins has been a small plot device in the previous episodes of Vampire Knight: Guilty, is episode explains that is a family of vampire hunters, that twins will never be born. And if by any chance that twins are conceived in a vampire hunter’s family, that one will consume the other.
As it’s now back to school for the students of Cross Academy, Kaname gives Yuki a gift of a rose that blooms only once every ten years, that is solidified in resin. Kaname also gives Zero a life-sized curse doll but Zero refuses it. As I have read the manga of Vampire Knight, I remember the scene in the manga of Vampire Knight has Zero accepting the life-size curse doll from Kananme, and the Zero steps on the curse doll, which makes a funny sound when Zero steps on it.
I thought this episode got more interesting as this episode revealed that Kaname reveals that his parents didn’t commit suicide, but were murdered. I thought this episode ended on an interesting note with Ichijou meeting a new Lord.
Overall, I thought that this episode was better than previous episodes of Vampire Knight: Guilty due to answering some questions about the plot of this series, will also expanding new plot ideas from previous episodes of Vampire Knight: Guilty.
